Your opportunity to represent Australia against the World

Are you up for the challenge?

World Golfers Championship Australia is an exciting new concept in amateur golf in this country: a national tournament that gives amateur golfers – both male and female – the opportunity to represent their country at the game they love!

This event is unique in that it is played in five handicap flights – 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, and 21-25 – and the winner of each will make up the five-person Australian team to contest the world final.

Playing over a series of Club, Regional, State and National finals, against players of your own handicap level, you could be one of Australia’s five leading amateur golfers who will emerge to play against the rest of the world in Orlando, Florida, USA on 23-29 November 2008.

Whilst World Golfers Championship has been played overseas for the past 13 years, under the patronage of golfing legend Arnold Palmer, 2008 is the first year Australia has taken part.

But we’re aiming to win, and to host the prestigious World Final in Australia in 2010!
