The World Golfers Championship is the only golf event in the world that offers completely amateur players – male & female – the opportunity, the thrill and the prestige of competing on the international stage.
Some countries regard World Golfers Championship as the Olympic Games of amateur golf!
The Championship is a world-wide amateur event. Our Patron is Arnold Palmer, and Seve Ballesteros, Ian Baker-Finch and Bob Charles are active members of the event’s Advisory Board.
Open to all amateur golfers – males and females – the event is conducted in five handicap flights (levels): 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25.
The five flight winners will go to the world final – this year at Mission Inn, Florida, USA – to compete individually and as an Australian team. They will play in their individual handicap flight and combine scores for the team event.
The Championship is sanctioned by the R&A, and all countries competing have the sanction of their governing body.
